Love at first sight!! :)

Today was my first Dr.'s appointment with the great Dr. VonAlmen. He is going to be such a great Dr. for us!! I am six weeks and 2 days today, and "peanut" looks right on track! Nick made it JUST in time for the appointment, I was so glad he was able to come at all given that he had a PFT this morning! Cameron was even there for the Dr's visit, and well... I don't know if he'll be going again. It's not that he misbehaived, it's just that he is NOT bashfull at all!! He would go right up to people and touch them! lol Luckily and obviously ;) they all thought he was just the cutest thing ever and didn't mind him one bit!!  We also go to see the babies hear beating, it was just such a fun day for me and Nick! Names & Bedding....

Okay, so since we've been waiting for this little baby, I've already picked out the names and the bedding!! The names have been decided since I was pregnant with Cameron, I really liked the name Cooper for a boy after I decided Cameron. Because I liked the way Cameron and Cooper sounded! Gracie has been a name I've had picked out since I was a little girl!!! I love that name soo much, Isobella Grace... Can't get any better than that!! I know it's funny that I'm so dead set on them but after two years of them being what I wanted, i've actually grown attatched to them, like I already have them.... LOL...
Now the nursery is another thing I've been doing a lot of research on. Mainly because a while after I had Cameron I somewhat regreted not giving him more of a "baby" nursery. I was so wanting to make Cameron in Nick's image, that light blue's and yellows weren't even near my radar! WELL that has changed! If this next baby is a boy I am going to make it the "babiest" nursery ever! here is what I have picked out for him!

Now for Gracie, I want a sweet girly nursery that has the same feel as Coopers would be. and something I could incorperate a bunch of different things in it, With Camerons nursery it was so themed that there wasn't much room to add anything different! That is my goal with both of the babies rooms, to make it easy to add things to it!

First Dr.'s Apt.

Well my first check up was SUPPOSED to be this friday, but it has now been moved to the following friday!! April 30th at 2:30. I was really looking forward to it, but at least this way if they do an Ultrasound we will be able to see a tiny bit more?! This is going to be such a different experiance than with Cameron. I get to be extremely excited for the second I found out! Nothing to plan, and soo far (pray to God) no ER visits! yay! I'm teaching Cameron how to say baby, and unlike every other word I've tried to teach him he has picked up on this one!! He got out his baby book this morning saying "baby baby"... Pure coincidence I'm sure, but he IS getting very smart! I hope to hear back from the CDC this week and/or from Old Navy, Target, and Motherhood Maternity! Either one of those jobs would be perfect for me!! so wish me luck!

I just ordered this shirt for Cameron!! It fits him perfectly! I'm soo curious how he is going to like being a big brother!!

First Entry

Hello all!!
This has been such a hectic year for us! Moved to New Orleans last August when Nick decided to get back into the Marine Corps. It has been a huge transition, but we really are enjoying our time here! Cameron is a year and half!! Time has flown by soo very fast! A few nights ago we found out the most terriffic news, were are going to have another baby!!!! This news has been long awaited, and just when I had lost a little bit of hope, God suprised us! We can always pray for the things we want, but he gives us what we need, when we need it! The wait for this has has only made us appreciate it all the more! Cameron is going to be a big brother! AH, kind of nervous on how he will take it... he is a big time mommas boy and doesn't like it when I show too much attention to another one his size! So we'll see! But were both just so extremely happy, this baby is truely a great blessing, and since were far away, figured this would be a fun way to keep everyone up to speed on everything!! May the next 8 months go quickly and smoothly! :)
