This has been such a wonderful year, and we are so grateful for all of God's blessings!
Nick is really enjoying his job, but has been very busy! In a years time he spent 16 weeks away from home, as well as going back to school to get his associates, getting a first class CFT and PFT. We are so very proud of him and all he has accomplished this year. He is always thinking of his family, and putting what's important first. For someone that had a crash course into parenthood he is really doing an amazing job!
In April I started work at Old Navy and two days before my first day of work found out I was pregnant! We really wanted another baby, and were so grateful that God has blessed us with another one! This pregnancy was tough the first few month, but nothing in comparison to my first pregnancy. Cameron and I flew to VA to visit my dad, making it Camerons first flight! Then a few weeks later made a trip to OK, all while Nick was away at school in NC. I have recently decided to really give photography a go in 2011. So wish me luck as I embark on this new journey, as well as raising TWO beautiful babies!
Cameron has had a big year of growth and learning! He has changed so much since he last birthday. Since I went back to work Cameron had to go to daycare. He wasn't too crazy about it at first... second... or even last... LOL I guess mom just makes it too fun to be home! Were still working on the whole "potty training" thing, but we aren't going to discourage him by putting a lot of pressure on it. He isn't ready and that is okay! He is starting to talk a lot. I knew that when he finally decided to start that their would be nooo stopping him, and I was right! He is trying to form sentences, like he has been saving up his words until he could put them all together! He is a very polite boy, always say please and thank you. He still is going to bed like a dream! This summer he moved into his big boy room sleeping in his dad's and uncle's old bunk beds that Pawpaw had built! It was so much fun decorating his room, a few of the things in there are Nick's old sports memorabelia. Camerons room fits him perfectly, I think it's the perfect "boys" room! Cameron has been a little curious as to why mommies belly has been looking funny lately, but he is always very cautious. He gives my belly kisses and says baby! Although I am very sure he has no idea what is going on, because if he did he would have been boycotting it from the very begining lol.
We are anxiously awaiting Gracie's arrival this weekend. It feels very strange to have it be so close now! Her nursery is just about done, and it's all very girly and pink! We are so thankful to God for all he has given and hope to make him proud in all that we do!
Here is a few pictures from the Christmas party at the Belle Chase Base.
