14 1/2 weeks!

First off let me say that I LOVE my Dr.! He is so nice and explain everything so well! I think that's why I haven't felt nervous. Today I had a check up and FINALLY got to hear my sweet baby's heartbeat. I knew instantly when he found it, and it brought a big smile to my face! Reminding me of all the times I got to hear Camerons heart beating before he was born. The heart rate was pushing 170, Dr. VonAlmen let Leah hold it steady and read what it said (just another reason why I love him!) When she told him what it said he says, "You know what that means?" Leah asked " Thats pretty fast right?" and he said "Yes. It's a girl." So matter of factly that I almost believed that it was actually so! Granted, When I first heard Camerons heartbeat at 9 weeks Dr. Arthurs though it was going to be a girl, so I'm obviously not getting my hopes up, but that was really early and by this week for Cameron it had drop'd to 150's! I do wish he wouldnt have planted the seed in my head, I was content thinking there was no way it could be a girl! lol Now thats 1pt for the Chinese and 1pt for the Dr. Tie breaker will be July 27th at 2p.m. When I have a high res. ultrasound!!!! YAY!! Can't wait to find out, no matter the outcome!
