Makaylahs day with Cameron & Gracie :)

A good friend of mine is moving and had TMO at her house today loading everything up so she asked me to watch her daughter for her. Makaylah is the SWEETEST girl, and she and Cameron had a lot of fun :) I'm really going to miss them! Today was a very fun and eventfull day and proved to me that two is enough for me!! lol

Isobella Grace is 3 months old!

Ican't believe my baby girl is already THREE months :) Crazy!! She has been such a blessing and a JOY! She is always smilling, and giggling. I am going to try and introduce a little bit of rice cereal in her bottles to get her ready for cereal next month, but she hates bottles. So wish me luck, because I think I might have found a bottle she will like! Here are some of her 3 month pictures :) The rest will be taken this weekend with her daddy :)

Waaahooo!

I just can't believe how quickly my baby boy is growing up! The past couple of months have meant big change for him. Not only did he become a BIG brother but he has gotten so much older looking. He is already fitting in size 3T (jean length is perfect, but have to draw in the waist) He now can point out a "fish" ANYWHERE. He loves fish, it's so fun to hear him point out things like booball (football) bikes and feet, which could be his acutal feet or shoes! His vocabulary is really improving just in the past few weeks he is already trying to form his sentences. It's funny though because everything is still a "bite" whether he wants food or a drink! We recently bought him a Toy Story potty chair and pull ups trying to get him started, and it's def. been a slow process. I finally decided to follow the example of my friend Stacey Breaux, she was having her son walk around w/ out a diaper to help potty train him. Well tonight we took Camerons diaper off and gave it a try AND he pee'd in his potty TWO times!!! We were sooo excited, and you could tell he felt very proud of himself :) For a while I have been sitting in the bathroom w/ him just waaiiittting for him to do something and he never would. Then when a little bit of pee squeeked out (which he imeadiatly stoped himself, probably thinking it was the weirdest thing that had ever happend to him lol) we ran him to his potty, sat him down and waited. Well nothing happend until I left him alone with a magazine and when I went back to check on him there it was, PEE!!! lol It's so funny the things you get excited about as a parent, but there we all were, jumping up and down with excitement that our boy pee'd in his potty :) Cameron is also learning how to ride his bike, and he loooves it! It's a cute red radio flyer bike he got for his birthday from Nick's srgt. Every day he points to the door and says "ride bike?" and if I say anything that even sounds like bike he gets waaaay excited. I'm just so proud of my sweet boy, he has been such a helper to me when it comes to his little sister. Always bringing her his toys to play with, or trying to get her to dance w/ him :) The other week I was recording them and I waved bye to Cameron and he waved, then took Gracie's hand and waved for her!! It really was the cutest thing he had ever done! Here are some pictures of my big boy riding his bike :)

The next day we went to the park to play and someone's dog had gotten out and started playing with Cameron. They both had a blast together and it made me really anxious for him to get his own dog someday!

I'm suprised daily at how much natural sports ability my son has! He is clumsier than heck, but he can swing a bat, throw a ball and wrestle anyone like no ones business! Which of course makes his daddy SO proud!

Gracie has just been growing SO fast! Every morning I say "Hi" to Gracie and no joke she say's it back!! I'm not kidding, it really is the cutest thing that she is already trying to mimick sounds :) Today I tried Gracie's Easter dress on her and it FITS, like really fits well. Soooo I'm not thinking it's going to two months from now which kinda stinks... I got it in a 3-6 month size so I really figured it would work perfectly. I'm thinking it's the brand that runs small because, she still fits 0-3 in everything else. So I'm either going to buy the same dress in a bigger size, or just completely start over. Her dress is pink and Navy and Cameron got a Navy Ralph Lauren half zip pullover for Christmas that he was going to wear with a pink button up underneath. That would have been PERFECT, so I may just get the same one to keep the idea I originally had. I am still nursing, and Gracie is doing really well with it. In fact, a little tooo well, she dislikes bottles and only will take them when she is "starving" but will never be quite satisfied when she is done with it. I just last night bought a new bottle that I'm hopeing she takes to a little better because I have a supply of a month and a half built up in my freezer and I'd like for her to drink it before it goes bad. Plus I get NO breaks lol it's hard to nurse and do anything else, I'm not sure if she is even hungry half the time or is just using me as her cuddly pacifier! WHICH by the way, I am still having a hard time getting her to take, I have tried just about all different kinds and she just isn't interested. Dr. Browns are the only ones she will kind of take. Oh well! Here are some pictures taken today of Gracie :) You can see in these pictures just how BIG she is getting!

I love how there is a paci right by her but she would rather have her hand lol

40 Days and 40 Nights..

I have decided that I will be giving up facebook for 40 days, it is crazy how even just muttering the words make me sad. With that said, it is for that reason that I know I have to do it! So much can be shared, and it's a great way to communicate with distant family. But it can also stir up a lot of unnecessary DRAMA. I can't say that that was my breaking point or big reason to give it up, because here lately it hasn't been too bad. I just think it has over-ran everyones life, mine included. It's a sad world when something funny happens to you and you are already wording just how your going to explain it on your status! At least that is what has begin to happen to me! If my ten year old self new me now, I would probably kick my butt for sharing so much information with the world wide web lol! So that is why I have decided to at least maintain my blog so that the grandparent's don't kill me, so I will use this as a way to post pictures and funny stories about the kids. Here is to hoping that I can do this, and in the end be less dependant on it!
and since everything is better with a picture, here are sweet shot of my baby boy :)

First week home-Christmas

Her first couple of weeks back were pretty bussy! I went to the mall the day I got home to get her princess carriage for her Christmas present, and grab a few things from Target with my mother-in-law, Leah. It was so nice to have family here with us, we really missed everyone after they left! Here are some pictures of Gracie's Newborn session

Here is Gracie's birth announcement :)

Merry Christmas! Hope you did have a great Christmas, here are some pictures that I took of my sweet hearts!

Gracie is here!

Our sweet little Gracie arrived December 11th 2010 at 8:32 a.m. weighing 7.4 lbs and 19 1/4 inches of sweet perfection! The surgery went very smoothly and the transition was pretty easy for Cameron. It did take him a couple of days to even really notice her but the second he held he was in love, and really took his big brother responsibilities seriously. By either giving her a pacifier when she cried or trying to hold her bottle! Gracie took to nursing really well and by 10 days old had already worked her way back to 7.3 lbs! We love her pediatrician, and are going to switch Cameron over to him as well. While I was still in the hospital Nick took Cameron to a Dr's apt for the first time to get his second dose of his flu shot, and Cameron did pretty well with then! Nana and Pawpaw took Cameron to Chuck E Cheese also and they had a great time! Here are a few pictures from the hospital and the day we got home!

Looks like she is puckering up for me!
