What a month... or two...

I honestly don't know where to start! Being a mommy of two, keeper of my husbands everything and photog is A LOT more than I thought it'd be. Of course I absolutely love every minute of it... Well... I do wish my husband could keep better track of his things, so almost all of it! lol. We have been so fortunate to have family visit and us be able to visit family as often as we do but it just never feel like enough time. Hopefully we get moved a lot closer to home soon!
We made a last minute trip to TN to watch the vikings play against the Titans and that was a lot of fun. Cameron and Nick are really in their element when it comes to sports and Gracie and I just enoyed being out of the house! We also visited the CMHF and that was really neat. I was born outside of Nashville so it was really cool to go back! Unfortunately, the A/C went out completely on the way home making the last 3 hrs pretty miserable. Luckily it happend at the end of the day so it wasn't terribly hot (terribly being the KEY word, it was still hot!)
Here are some pics of our trip!

Well, my brother-in-law Sam proposed to his long time girlfriend, so I will finally be gettin an Emerson sister in law! We will still be out numbered, Reed and the boys makes 5 and now with Katlin makes only 4 girls! Very excited to be welcoming her into our family, I just love her to pieces! They are both going to have such a happy life together. Another bit of "doubly" great news is, my best friend Kylee is expecting TWINS!! Ahhh, even now I still get way too excited for them. Kylee is such a great mom, it will be so nice to see her blessed with two more beautiful babies!
I don't know about you, BUT I have become a pin-addict! AH! I just love pinterest.com, Nick tells me that that website is by far his favorite because he is getting fed better and more creatively than ever! lol It's so inspiriing, but the problem I run into is I wanna do everything I see. My friend Amber is also a pin addict and we planned a "pin worthy" day full of crafts and food we had no business eating! It was a blast!

We got some very sad news about a dear friend of ours, Kelli. She had been in her 2nd battle with cancer when she passed away in her home about a week ago. Kelli was an amazing person with the biggest heart I have ever seen. She had a protective love of animals, family and her friends. She, along with her husband Nate, was a God parent to my son Cameron. Nate and Nick are very good friends, Nate was Nick's best man and Nick was his. I still remember the day they were married and the day she told me she thought the cancer had returned. Of course we made the trip down for her memorial. Nick really wanted to be there for his best friend. That was a very hard day, filled with a lot of tears! Before we found out about Kelli's passing I had a flight to go to OK to visit family and take pictures. Since I didn't want Cameron to make the trip twice I left him behind in Oklahoma... *tear* I have never spent anytime away from him, and I'd say 5 days and nearly three states away is a BIG leap. No baby steps for this momma! I cried my eyes out when his Grandma drove off with him. I miss my baby boy sooo much, but it really is what's best for him and I know his grandparents are enjoying their time with him!

LOVE THAT BOY!!!!!!!!!
